On November 29th, at Lykeio Linopetras, Center for Social Innovation participated at STEAME Festival, an inspiring event that brought together around 1,500 children from primary to high school levels  (from primary to high school), as well as parents and educators.

Through an interactive activity, “The Pasta Tower Challenge: Building Strong Online Communities”, CSI engaged participants in a hands-on experience to explore the topics of internet safety, cyberbullying, internet addiction, and empathic active listening.

Participants built towers with pasta and marshmallows while drawing scenario cards that mirrored real-life online behaviors, learning how positive actions strengthen and negative actions weaken the tower and online relationships and communities in general. This activity not only resonated with children but also fostered meaningful discussions with parents and educators, effectively disseminating the goals of our project and raising awareness about creating safer, more supportive online spaces.
