The “eSafety – eCreativity Network for Teachers, Parents and Guardians” project, co-funded by the European Union, is excited to announce the successful launch of its Online Training Course for Teachers & Professionals. The course kicked off with an engaging introductory meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, and has been running smoothly ever since. Here is an update on its progress:

Training Progress So Far:

  • 32 participants from Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Belgium, Serbia, Egypt, Vietnam are actively engaged in the course, gaining essential skills and knowledge.
  • 5 online meetings and interactive teleconferences have already been held, providing valuable opportunities for real-time discussion, collaboration, and learning.
  • 5 modules of Interactive Educational Material are available on the iLE platform, focusing on key topics that are crucial for today’s educators and professionals:
    • Empathetic Active Listening Methodology: A powerful approach to communication that helps professionals support children.
    • Internet Addiction & Cyberbullying: Two critical issues affecting today’s youth, with practical strategies for prevention, intervention, and education.

About the Training:

This training is designed to provide teachers and professionals with essential digital safety skills, particularly related to Cyberbullying and Internet Addiction, while also offering key counseling tools to help them support and communicate with students effectively. The course integrates innovative digital tools, including 3D videos, interactive videos, and gamification, to enhance the learning experience.

The course is based on experiential and inquiry-based learning, empowering participants to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to address these important issues in their classrooms and professional environments.
